Patrick Sapp (1973 - )

Born in Jacksonville, Sapp went on to play quarterback at Clemson before switching to linebacker prior to the NFL.

Drafted in the second round of the 1996 NFL draft by the Chargers, he spent two years there before being traded to the Cardinals. Included in that trade were Eric Metcalf and a number of draft picks ... one of which the Chargers used to draft Ryan Leaf.
