An avid soccer player and fan of the sport, Scott played through Varsity high school and later turned to coaching. To the outsider, Vanek was your average guy. But, to those who knew him, he was the bar you tried to reach in life. The countless people he touched were better for it, and the world was a little brighter while he was in it.
