Blair James Stewart (1953 - )
Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Stewart played for the Winnipeg Jets in the WHL junior league before being drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1973 NHL draft. He then spent 74-79 with the Capitals before winding up his NHL career in Quebec.
Following his retirement from the game, Stewart was instrumental in the league increasing player safety and head protection.
