Vaughn's Valley Foundation was formed in order to raise needed funds and to use their resources to offer community support through positive exposure for local organizations, support for at-risk youth, and help in the fight against Type I Diabetes.
Gregory Lamont Vaughn (1965 - )
A native of Sacramento, CA, Vaughn was selected by the Brewers at #75 in the 1984 amateur draft. His Major League career began in 1989 as a member of the Brewers and ended with the Rockies in 2003. Through his time in the majors, Vaughn was a 4x All Star (1993, 1996, 1998, 2001), a Silver Slugger Award winner (1998), a member of the 50HR Club (1998), and earned his way onto the Milwaukee Brewers Wall of Honor.
Following his baseball career, Vaughn founded the Vaughn's Valley Foundation in the Sacramento community.
